Jason Hope is an entrepreneur, investor, futurist, and philanthropist who is a strong believer in the Internet of Things (IOT), which has to do with everyday objects or devices being made capable of sending and receiving data on the internet in order to perform specific tasks. Hope has said numerous times that the IOT is the future and that people should expect to see more and more devices that use that kind of technology. Hope is an Arizona native who attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance. He also studied at the W.P. Carey School Of Business where received an MBA in business.

Jason Hope has offered grants to senior high school students, college students, and entrepreneurs who are looking to turn their ideas into real world applications or companies. He offers the grant to help them overcome the initial hurdles of getting their idea off of the ground, and he personally reviews every submission that a person sends in to him for consideration. Jason Hope has expressed his belief about keeping things simple and not over complicating ideas, which only leads to frustration. He says he runs his ideas by the people who are closest to him before moving forward with them.

As a philanthropist, Jason Hope has been a supporter of many causes but one of them is very close to his heart. This cause is the fight against diseases that mainly effect the aging population, and he is helping the battle by contributing a large amount of money to the SENS Foundation, which works to research rejuvenation biotechnologies that can help to get rid of age-related disease. Specifically, in 2010, Hope donated $500,000 to the California-based non-profit organization, and he expressed his interest in the foundation’s work and especially the work of Dr. Aubrey de Grey who he has been following for some time.

Jason Hope is working with the SENS Foundation to help cure or prevent diseases that effect the aging, such as, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, and Atherosclerosis. He hopes to be able to prevent high blood pressure as well as long-sightedness and aging of the skin. Hope also supports and works with other charitable organizations like the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix, Family Health International, T Gen Foundation, International Foundation for Education and Self Help, and many more. Looking into the future, which Jason Hope does often, he expects to see age-related disease to become a thing of the past.
